Our School

Choosing a school for your child is a very important decision and we hope this prospectus and a visit to the school will help you make the right choice.

At Oakhurst we see education of children as a partnership between children, staff, parents and governors and we will do our very best to develop this partnership. We hope parents will feel able to support the many aspects of school life.

Children are at the centre of school life and we encourage them to be independent responsible members of the school community. They are encouraged to be caring and thoughtful towards others. The school provides a carefully structured curriculum, which aims to challenge children to work to their full potential.
